A traveller at heart, Alok has journeyed across continents and explored the nooks and corners of India, experiencing hospitality in its finest forms. He is an ecophile, deeply in love with mountains, water bodies, and lush green scenery, and enjoys wandering with his literary and philosophical reflections.
Through Trails of Teak, he brings his philosophy to life: that true luxury lies not in excess, but in harmony - with nature, with design, and with oneself. This riverside hideaway is his passion project, thoughtfully built so it echoes the silence, stillness, and grace of the surrounding teak forest he so deeply loves.
